Sprinkler Head Repair in Salt Lake City
A sprinkler is soaking the sidewalk while the grass beside it stays dry. You may only need a head repair, but the replacement still has to suit the rest of the zone. We’ll check what’s wrong and help you get the water back where it belongs.
Call (385) 226-5764 or text us what you’re seeing.
Which head is acting up?
Look for a head that sprays sideways, won’t rise, leaks at the base, or leaves a dry strip between its neighbors. Note whether it’s one head or several.
It may be the nozzle, the body, or the zone
Dirt can clog a nozzle, the body or riser can crack, and grass can grow over a low head. A tilted sprinkler may aim too high or too low. If the whole zone is weak, the head itself may be fine.
Watch first, then switch the water off
Watch a short manual cycle and compare the problem head with the others. Look for grass in the spray path and water reaching pavement. Turn the zone off before touching a head. Before any digging, account for buried utilities and private lines.
A repair that fits the rest of your sprinklers
We check the head, its connection, the spray pattern, and available pressure. A replacement should reach the right distance and deliver water at a rate that fits the zone. Then we run the zone again to check coverage.
Three steps to getting it sorted
- Call or text with your city and what you’ve noticed. A photo helps if the problem is visible.
- Arrange a system check. Talk through the cause, repair options, and pricing before deciding on the work.
- Go over the result and ask what to watch for between visits.
Should I replace every sprinkler head at once?
Not usually. One damaged head can often be repaired without replacing the rest. If we find widespread wear or mismatched nozzles, we’ll explain why a larger change may help before you decide.
