Drip Irrigation Repair in Salt Lake City

Drip Irrigation Repair in Salt Lake City

One shrub is drying out. The one beside it has a puddle at its roots. Before you add more watering time, let’s find out where the drip system is sending the water. We check the tubing, emitters, and controls so you can make a useful repair.

Signs your drip system needs a closer look

Look for a loose tube, a fitting that sprays, an emitter that stays dry, or soil that turns soggy around one plant. Sometimes the whole drip zone stops coming on.

A small part can leave a plant without water

A clogged emitter or damaged tube can interrupt water to part of the bed. The filter and water pressure matter, too. And as shrubs grow, the emitters that worked when they were small may no longer water the right part of the root area.

Start with a short watering test

Watch the bed during a brief cycle. Note which plants get water and where it leaks. Look for loose connections, but leave buried tubing in place. Turn the zone off before handling fittings, and never open a filter while the system is pressurized.

We’ll follow the water through the bed

We check how water moves through the zone, then explain which repairs or layout changes make sense. That includes the filter and pressure control the drip components need. After the work, we test delivery at several points in the bed.

Three steps to getting it sorted

  1. Call or text with your city and what you’ve noticed. A photo helps if the problem is visible.
  2. Arrange a system check. Talk through the cause, repair options, and pricing before deciding on the work.
  3. Go over the result and ask what to watch for between visits.

Can lawn sprinklers and drip use the same schedule?

Often, separate schedules work better. Drip emitters and lawn sprinklers deliver water differently, and the plants may need different amounts. We’ll look at how your zones are built before suggesting a change.
